Re: It's me, I'm back

Hi Kerik! Looking forward to seeing you in September. I actually just yesterday got the FAKA out of the shed to start working on it. Probably only one machine this year, it's just too much work.

Re: Washington

Sorry, haven't been visiting hence the late reply.

I've never heard of anything in the Samamish area. Burlington will be the last Saturday in September next year. Snohomish is iffy at best after a two-year absence.

Re: Washington events

Burlington is in the books. Eight machines, most ever. Two of them mine. I won't be doing that again, it's just too much work. Craig "Fishy" MacComber, who developed the FAKA when in high school, turned up and joined my team. With his parents! They were a huge help. Also had a visit from K...

Air cannons blow. Sometimes the blow up. I wish they'd go away.

Re: Washington events

Snohomish was cancelled last year due to the organizer's illness. It won't be held this year as she's still recovering but she hopes it may be back next year. Last year's Burlington event was cancelled due to the horrific mall shooting, but is on for this year. I'll be there with two machines, a new...

Do hurling events have a future?

2016 was a disaster. Both West Coast events cancelled, for different reasons, and a serious injury at WCPC. Science channel cancelled their show. That's after the WCPC was cancelled two years in a row. Who's going to insure it now? And if they do, who can afford it? Out here, Snohomish was cancelled...
